Hailing from Stockton, California, Dyli (aka Dylan O’Byrne) is not your typical teenager. Dyli is fearless and takes chances, juggling a budding career as a writer/artist and a jam-packed class schedule which she makes seem effortless.
“I performed live for the first time at the age of 7 and it was completely invigorating. I knew at that moment that I had to pursue music. It all took off from there,” says Dyli.
Dyli’s global travels have exposed her to a variety of musical styles that she weaves together seamlessly. Her music is comprised of emotionally heartfelt lyrics and soaring choruses that speak about youth, love, life and loss of innocence.
“My music is a combination of styles and influences,” she says when asked to describe her sound. “You can hear a lot of different influences because my musical palette runs through everything from mainstream pop, hip-hop and R&B, to classic 1930s jazz.”
Dyli’s debut EP “Ride My Wave” was released in 2016 and immediately resonated with fans across digital platforms with the single “Weekend” racking up more than 100,000 streams on Spotify.
Her follow up, 4-song EP, “My Debut” dropped in 2017, with her latest single, “Low Key” available now. She is also gearing up for the release of a feature with legendary battle-rapper, Madchild in early 2019, and will be showcasing on the West Coast for the remainder of the year.
She continues to cultivate fans from all walks of life that identify with her powerful, insightful, and youthful messages.
