Big Fresco – State of Mind

Jahvel Adrian, better known by his stage name Big Fresco, was born on July 26th, 1991 in Toronto, Canada. Big Fresco is a multi-talented Hip-hop artist who excels in writing, producing, engineering and performing. Coming from a cultured, rugged and diverse upbringing in the South East-side of Toronto, in a region called Scarborough, poetic thoughts began to reflect the everyday life he went through in the low-income suburb. Born and raised in the early 90’s, Big Fresco was heavily influenced by Hip-hop culture. Biggie Smalls, Dr. Dre, Big L, Nas, Big Pun and Immortal Technique are just a few of Big Fresco’s early inspirations. Big Fresco has worked consistently to develop his craft. His lyrics summon a conscious perspective that is classy, clever, sharp and yet unapologetic to modern day society. He is well known for his wordplay. He has currently been collaborating musically with the group ‘Young Soldiers.’ They are working on a collaboration project, as well as his project titled ‘Slim 2 None.’
